The Square Hole Aluminum Level Base Shoe is used as the decorative cover element for aluminum baluster installations and is designed to hide and minimize gaps as well as imperfections during installation. This shoe was designed to fit aluminum or steel square bars and allows a little extra spaces as to reduce scraping the picket while installing.
Use the included adjusting screw to tighten the shoe to the picket and reduce any chance of vibration or movement when installed.
