This Die-Cast Aluminum Two-Piece Post Base Cover or Post Shoe is suitable for installing after the post is set. It offers the ability to hide unsightly concrete/mortar pours used to set the post. Another use is to hide the unsightly anchors used to connect a post flange to the floor.
- Works perfectly over preinstalled 1.25-inch aluminum tubes
- Measures: Approx. 3.5″Sq (inside) x1.27″ H; outside measures 3-9/16″ Square
- Fits easily over a 3″ Square- 1/4″ Base Plate or Anchor Plate
Since this is a two-piece unit, for added security we recommend one uses a little epoxy on the male sides of the unit upon installation.
